Simple Hearts Farm was born out of deep connection to the common humanity that spans all walks of life across all cultures. That connection was cultivated through a combined 23 years of experience in law enforcement and military (U.S. Marine Corps) and 13 years of experience in "corporate America" in startups and public companies.

Through witnessing brutality, greed, indifference, violence, heartbreak, but also love, generosity, compassion, curiosity and selflessness we found common threads that tie all of humanity together and gave a broad underlying purpose to our mission here.

Simple Hearts Farm is here with the hope of being one of many small shimmers of light in the ever rising dawn of the world of today. All across the world there is a dawning recognition that the only way to go is forward. What kind of step forward is under debate but it is our belief that it is actually much simpler than it feels and that everything you really need to know is already within your heart. You just have to connect to it and align it in the right direction.

The food we produce here at Simple Hearts Farm is grown with love and respect. It's always pesticide free, organic, non-gmo and harvested by our hand. Our microgreens are grown indoors in a controlled environment free of atmospheric pollutants and packed with vitamins and nutrition. Our grapes all originate from a thriving 50+ year old local North Carolina muscadine vine that is still growing strong.

Simple Hearts Farm is more than a food production venture (although that's a huge part of what we are doing); it is our belief that food and physical nourishment is only one piece of a larger puzzle. Just as important, is the enrichment of the soul.
